2025 Artist: Jennifer Mark

Jennifer Winship Mark is a Portland-based artist and illustrator creating all forms of art inspired by nature and especially the Oregon countryside and gardens. She is last year’s winner of the NW Lavender Paint Out in Newberg.  Her many art installations and murals can be found in and around Portland and the wine country. She is the past cofounder of Open Eye Art and Dragonfly Hill Studio which keep her challenged and busy in her Portland studio. She is an accomplished mural painter, community advocate  and currently is conducting workshops in Oregon. She believes artists need to connect, share and inspire one another.  That is why she has started a number of artist connection groups that bring like minded creatives together. She feels a true artist is not one who is inspired but rather one who inspires others. Currently, Gardening, Plein air painting, scanography and giant paper botanicals are what “lights her fire”.
