2025 Artist: Jazzysdesign

Marilyn of JazzysDesign is a Yaqui-Mexican-American artist rooted in traditional art and cultural values. Influenced by her Indigenous heritage, she combines her artistic and graphic design skills to create educational resources and eco-friendly crafts. With a Master’s in Communication and extensive experience collaborating with nonprofits across the Pacific Northwest, Marilyn is committed to advancing diversity, equity, and cultural education. She is actively involved in Portland’s Latine community through organizations such as IDEAL PDX, Milagro, and Latino Network, serving as an artist, designer, and educator.
