Grant is most well-known for @PDXFLAG – PDX Free Little Art Gallery.
Located on a sidewalk in Southeast’s Foster-Powell neighborhood sits a diorama of a modern art gallery where anyone can leave a piece of art, take a piece of art, or admire art. There’s even 5” patrons who Grant moves around to look at the art.
While anyone can display their art in the gallery at any time, Grant has created mini Yayoi Kusama immersive experiences and other famous artist installations to draw visitors.Come visit @PDXFLAG!
Piano: “Howdy Partner”
Gay cowboys! Gay cowboys! The world needs more pink gay cowboys! This piano was inspired by the song “Pink Pony Club” by Chappell Roan and how they left where they were raised and found home in a welcoming queer space. In a sense that’s what my journey to Portland has been, and this serves as a whimsical celebration of that.
