We rescue pianos and put them on the street for everybody to enjoy. We want to give pianists more opportunities to play for the public.

ARTIST STATEMENT:

Constructed from1400 hand cut tiles made from recycled mirror, "The Baller" is like Dr Dre and Elton John had a love piano. This super shiny homage to all things music, is crowned with the legendary words "Play on Player" from the 90's track No Diggity, and is meant to stop you dead in your tracks with its undeniable glam. Renditions of blinded by the light, no diggity, and tiny dancer especially encouraged on this sparkler!

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY:

Portland artist Jen Fuller blends the contrasting aesthetics of glass and steel to create sculpture she refers to as “totems for the soul.” Motivated by the technical challenges inherent in transforming materials with history into time based experiences, her work reflects the transparency and vulnerability found in humanity and nature. Fuller’s recent work has been commissioned by Metro Regional Government, Ovation TV, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Lan Su Chinese Garden, Portland Winter Light Festival, and private collectors
