Grab yourself a full rock band and set up around this one....there's a full drum set along the back.

"Mrs. Rose P Stone" is the creation of a team of artists and musicians working out of ADX Portland.

Donated instruments were arranged in a way that allows them to be played along with the piano. Drums along with a variety of cymbals and some drumsticks are mounted on the back of the piano, and a guitar, tambourine and finger pianos are mounted on the sides. The team decorated the rest of the piano with broken instruments donated from people around town. "Please Play Me" was cut into the piano using the ADX CNC router and all of the QR codes and piano tags were cut on the ADX laser engraver. The piano was painted by David Lotchie and Bjorn van der Voo.

Team: Shawn Lawson Freeman, Kelley Roy, David Lotchie, Bjorn van der voo, Mychael Pinkard, Kivett Bednar, Zach Yarrington, John Watson, Ian Powell, Chris Anson, Chris Di Marco, John Perkins, and Chris Lau.

About Piano! Push Play!

We rescue pianos, put them on the street for everyone to enjoy, and then give them to schools, community centers, artists, and others who will love them as much as we do.
